These new digital exams for young learners are designed to be engaging, interactive, and child-friendly — while still offering the same trusted quality Cambridge is known for.
✅ Features of the YLE DIGITAL FORMAT
- Available for Pre-A1 Starters and A1 Movers levels
- Digital reading, writing, and listening components taken on a computer or tablet
- Speaking test remains the same: face-to-face with a trained Cambridge examiner
- Children choose and personalise a fun avatar, earning virtual rewards throughout the test
- Just like in the paper-based version, there’s no pass or fail — every child receives a certificate to celebrate what they can do in English!

• Pruebas de comprensión lectora, escritura y escucha realizadas en un ordenador o tableta
• La prueba oral sigue siendo presencial, cara a cara con un examinador oficial de Cambridge
• Los niños pueden elegir y personalizar un avatar divertido, ganando recompensas virtuales durante la prueba
• Igual que en la versión en papel, no hay aprobado ni suspenso — ¡cada niño recibe un certificado para celebrar lo que sí sabe hacer en inglés!
